I want this card too but I already have 3 new cards in the last 4 months, don't want any lenders to CLD or close my accounts. Hopefully I'll have this card by the end of the year!

I received the same offer as Tom did.

States you will receive $300 bonus after your first purchase. Fine print says the purchase can be anything and doesn't have to be over a certain limit. Does seem almost too good to be true, but after looking at the fine print, I may need to put the Discover More card away in favor of the Freedom card.

Is the $300 a newer promotion? I anticipated taking advantage of the $200 promotion when I was approved a little over a month ago; wish I would have went for the $300 promo however.

I believe we're still discussing Chase Freedom, not Slate- though I haven't personally heard of any promotional offers regarding the Slate either.

Correct. The offer I received was for Chase Freedom, and was for $300 after first purchase.

Was a deal I couldn't pass on, so I didn't and was approved. Consider myself all set as far as credit cards go.

I was approved around the same time you were so I just sent them a message and will report back later with what they say. My fingers are crossed.
