If you call the Bank of America credit card customer service number make sure you get everything in writing! I called to opt-out of a change on my account. They were changing my account to Signature and I didn't want that because then there would be no credit limit. I was super clear what I wanted and the customer service rep promised me it was taken care of. I asked for Bank of America to send me a letter confirming that I opted out and she said they don't do that. That was back in May and then this month I find out they made the change anyway! MY BEST CREDIT LIMIT IS NOW GONE FROM MY REPORT!
When I called them up they claim there is no notes on my account that I opted out of the change. That is complete and utter BS because I confirmed many times with the rep that she noted my account! Bank of America credit card customer service is by far the worse!
DO NOT DO ANY IMPORTANT CHANGES OVER THE PHONE WITH THEM! GET ANY CHANGES DONE IN WRITING SO THEY DON'T SCREW YOU OVER! THIS IS THE THIRD TIME I HAVE HAD CHANGES MADE AND THEN THEY "HAVE NO RECORD" OF IT LATER ON. TOTAL BS!
