She didn't know which lounges, but said it would be 900+. I'm still reading the product announcement tomorrow, but I may app for this one even though I just got the CSP back in April.

And as expected, no 100K signup bonus with a PC. That was pretty much a given, but I had to ask.

From a perks perspective, it doesn't really offer anything new, does it?

The point being...in my case, it's not of much value right now since I've got points to burn.

I would say the value is in the 50% bonus vs. the 25% bonus. If you can make effective use of the whole $300 travel credit, that puts you at $55 more than CSP. If you book $220 or more in travel with UR each year, you're ahead of the CSP no?

Tempting, but I do not think I am going to risk it. I will not be clear of the 5/24 rule until October, but some people on other boards are saying they are getting it with a lot more than 5 in the last 24 months. Anyone here have any personal experiences?

You can seemingly (sometimes) bypass 5/24 if you go in the branch and ask for a preapproval. Some people are talking about driving 4 or 6 hours for it. Personally I think it's ludicrous just for a credit card but whatever makes you happy.

Applying online is definitely subject to 5/24.

Also keep in mind it's the Internet and people can say whatever they want and people like to follow the herd. They may just be saying they got approved, if the circumstances seem odd.

Yeah the closest one to me is around 3 hours away. Not worth it. I will probably wait till October when I drop below 5/24. I will also have my new AAdvantage card paid off since I have been putting the $3K spend on it to get the bonus.

So if I have the Chase Ritz-Carlton card, it makes no sense to get this one anyone agrees, disagree? I have a Chase Sapphire Preferred, and the Ritz both are good cards for what I use them for, I guess my second question is those are Visa Signature, and the new Chase card is a Visa Infinity is there something different why did they go from Signature to Infinity?
