Quite a stir about the Reserve all over the various sites. Looks to be under 5/24 as expected though.

The benefits pages is up on the Chase website. They talk about getting upgrades on rental cars, but you still cannot look at the details. Really tempted by this one since I would probably be able to use the $300 credit this November on hotels when I take my vacation.

https://www.chase.com/card-benefits/sapphirereserve/travel
Discover IT - $5,700
Chase Freedom - $5,700
Costco Citi - $13,000
Sallie Mae - $4,000
Chase Sapphire Preferred - $6,000
Chase Sapphire Reserve - $19,500
Citi Double Cash - $6,500
Amex BCE - $13,000

FICOs: Discover (777), SallieMae (764), Amex (767), Citi (772)
FAKOs: CK- TU (760), EQ (760)

Did you apply in the branch or did you use that leaked online app last week?

From what I've seen, there's not much that's so exceptional about the card...other than the giant bonus, that is....and a good travel/dining earn rate.

From a perks perspective, it doesn't really offer anything new, does it?

The point being...in my case, it's not of much value right now since I've got points to burn.
Love: IHG, Platinum, Sallie Mae, AA Plat, CSP
Like: Discover, ED, BCE, Hyatt, Arrival, Freedom
Might drop: BrooksBros, Prestige (Costco PC?)
Might add: Proper business card, CSR, Ritz, Delta Gold
Letting new accounts cool off since May
Really not sure what I'll add next or when

The good travel/dining rate is worth a lot if you travel and dine a lot. Which is the target audience this card is aimed at.

The rumored $300 travel credit does a lot to make up for the annual fee.

The 100K bonus is huge, and I wish I could get it with a PC from the CSP. I know, fat chance.

All in all, I'm tempted, but waiting for an official release with full details. Even the link that was posted here earlier was vague on some benefits. I'm on the phone with Chase right now about it.

Many of the details have been confirmed by Chase:

The $300 is for all travel related expenses. Should be interesting on how Amex and Citi react with their $450 cards. I am sure they are going to be losing a significant number of them in the next few months.

So the CSP CSR confirmed a lot of the rumors, including the $300 credit (and as thedarkguy pointed out, said it can be used for all travel.) She also touted lounge access. She didn't know which lounges, but said it would be 900+. I'm still reading the product announcement tomorrow, but I may app for this one even though I just got the CSP back in April.

And as expected, no 100K signup bonus with a PC. That was pretty much a given, but I had to ask.
