That is going to suck then. I may opt for a just the regular membership. I am looking to buy a car and refinance my student loans in the next year and cannot afford to take a hit on AAoA. I just hit 2 years. Not like I do not have other options to pay then. I will keep my TE open as long as I can. I doubt I will get another Amex anytime soon.
Discover IT - $5,700
Chase Freedom - $5,700
Costco Citi - $13,000
Sallie Mae - $4,000
Chase Sapphire Preferred - $6,000
Chase Sapphire Reserve - $19,500
Citi Double Cash - $6,500
Amex BCE - $13,000

FICOs: Discover (777), SallieMae (764), Amex (767), Citi (772)
FAKOs: CK- TU (760), EQ (760)

What do you do with URs? I doubt Citi will be able to offer much more than 2% cash back on warehouse purchases, and getting 2 cpp in value is reasonable for Hyatt and United.

Amex may end up PCing TE people to BCE, anyway.

I pretty much use UR points for Southwest flights. Though I am not sure the next time I will use them.

It looks like there will be no change in the reward structure.

See: Schedule 4.06(a) or just search for "restaurants".

Is there a separate closed account listed for the Costco Amex? If not, then it doesn't sound like backdating, just the correct opening date of an account Amex sold to Citi.
