They changed the credit card number completely. No details as to where it was compromised. I just hope that it won't report on my credit report as a new card cause I really need the history.
And it's so annoying having to change the card details in my various online accounts again... which might actually have been where it was compromised in the first place...
Yeah, I am irritated by how many times this card has been compromised. My Citi, Chase, Discover, Amex, Cap One etc have not been compromised. This card was compromised twice in 2013 (once at Target) and now once this year. I mean, I am glad they have my back, I just wish they would tell me which merchant it is happening at because then I will not go there anymore. I have had this card since 2001 and I am on my 7th account number.
Is yours a Platinum Plus or a Signature?
