And yes, I do have in my opinion too many cards. Or at least more than I prefer to deal with. The current collection will be further pared down. Those will annual fees get first scrutiny. Basically they gotta be worth it to me. No different than anything else - most poeple if they feel they don't get value for their money look elsewhere.
I find myself going a bit in the other direction. I'm happy to keep my no-AF cards open even if I don't use some of them much, but I'm finding that my AF cards (plus Freedom and Discover) have been giving me the best value lately.
