I have to wonder if Barclaycard cites "too many new accounts" as a denial reason when an applicant has a new card every three months - or every two weeks. The actual number of new accounts that it takes to make them uncomfortable may be higher than most people realize, if the reports are from people with an abnormal number of new accounts.
