Not true. A lot of cards come with faster delivery, especially travel cards with annual fees.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the card in question, though.

Edit: And a secured card really isn't necessary.
Very useful: SchwabPlat, CSP, IHG, Costco (was AA Plat), Freedom, SPG
Somewhat useful: Discover, ED (was EDP), BCE, Hyatt, Arrival
May close or PC: Prestige, BrooksBros

Might add: Proper business card, CSR, Ritz, Delta Gold, First Tech

I have checking and "non-emergency" general savings with Chase. And yes, they pay essentially zero interest. I also have an emergency fund through capital one 360 that I may transfer to a brokerage account once the balance gets a little higher.

Chase gave me a $2000 limit Freedom when I was about 620 on EX, so they've been good to me in that regard.
Wallet: Chase Freedom, Discover IT
Chopping Block: Synchrony
Future: TBD

I hope tomorrow it comes in mail...later on after a year I want to consider Chase freedom. Or retry Discover.

Congratulations. Capital One is a good first card to have. It was mine and I still have it today.
Main Cards:
