Last night I was expecting a deposit made to my bank account which I did get but also noticed there was a pending transaction. I don't use my debit card other than the time when I go to the bank-I stopped using it for purchases for about 2 years now.
So first transaction was made on the 23rd (yesterday). I tried calling my bank at 11 pm last night- they were closed but would open at 7 am. when I woke up I checked my bank app to see if it was removed NOPE!!! I actually had a second transaction pending!!!
I called back this morning and told a CSR what was going on and who then transferred me to a Claims Specialist- the CS told me that I had to call Starbucks because the transaction was still pending so I did. I called SB the lady who helped me was actually more helpful than the bank people- she asked for my information and looked over the purchases then she told me that she was going to cancel the transactions and also gave me a reference number in case my bank needs it. so then I called the bank again that way I can give them the reference number turns out the claim specialist didn`t close my card down like I told him to.
