Hi everyone! This is my first post on the CreditCardForum!
I am 19, currently have two credit cards with an average score around 705 (Credit Karma). Credit Sesame list my score at 713. I was wondering what I should do as far as improving my score. I have been on time with all my payments, my Aaoa is 6 months according to CK, and I have 8 hard pulls on both my Equifax and TransUnion. Some of those pulls are knocking off this year. I was just wondering if any of you have any advice on gardening and what other cards I should apply for? I really want to apply for the Chase Freedom but I'm going to wait a little longer after the inquiries drop off my report. As of right now, I have a Capital One Secured Card and the Wells Fargo College Card. My credit lines = $1400. Please let me know what advice you have!
Thanks in advance!
I'd like to know more info about how long total you've been using credit. Chase likes to see roughly a year of history before giving someone like you a shot. If you don't get in with them, there's also the possibility of recon with them. How many inquiries do you have on EX or EQ BTW?
If you have about 6-7 months of history, I'd go ahead and see if there's anything from Amex that interests you.
