Applying for two cards at once?

Postby Gixxer » Fri Dec 26, 2014 3:22 pm

Hello,

Can I apply for two cards at once? Like going thru Chase recon? Will they let me get two cards at the same time? Maybe, I can convince them to use one pull :)

Sure. Whether or not you get approved is another matter and all depends on your credit.

2 cards from the same company at the same time? That must be very hard

Cards from different companies at the same time?

Yes, it can be done.

It happened to me but with 3 cards. I applied for Discover it chrome, AMEX BCE, Chase Freedom and BOA Cash Rewards all on the same say and within just a few minutes apart (November 17, 2014). All this was with only having 7 month history, $300 CL on a local CU CC and 3 HP on Transunion (they all did their HPs from TU, I now have 7 HP).

Discover and AMEX approved me on the spot and BOA called me 3 days later to verify some info and then approved me. Chase was the only one that denied me do to having a history of less than a year.

Roger-dodger. Thanks for the replies :) I was going to apply for the CSP and Marriott Premier Rewards. I already have a Freedom, so of course I want that CSP/Freedom 1 2 punch. And the Marriott, yep....that will come in handy. Let's see, free night upon approval....free night annually? Yep, let me get that. I will take the lowest limit on each of just 5k. Doesn't bother me none. For u curious types, my AAOA is just over 3 years....longest account history is 7 years and still open....utilization is 7%....and myfico is 759
