Well, it's not as bad as I originally thought, but it makes me wonder what the card will look like in a few years at this rate of reward nerfing and a AF increase (potentially hitting even existing cardholders).
Love: IHG, Platinum, Sallie Mae, AA Plat, CSP
Like: Discover, ED, BCE, Hyatt, Arrival, Freedom
Might drop: BrooksBros, Prestige (Costco PC?)
Might add: Proper business card, CSR, Ritz, Delta Gold
Letting new accounts cool off since May
Really not sure what I'll add next or when

What I saw was 3x points booked through UR mall getting nerfed. They didn't mention nerfing 2x.

Another subtle move from them is that they seem to be testing higher annual fees as we can recently see $125 and $150 versions. This might be also irritating as there doesn't seem to be any extra benefits bundled with those versions.
Citi Forward Visa $5000 10/2012 | American Express Blue Cash Everyday $8000 2/2014 | Discover it $7000 5/2014
Chase Freedom Visa Signature $7000 6/2014 | Citi ThankYou Premier Visa Signature $5000 1/2015
All EMV.

They're not rewarding the extra point for booking through their captive portal. Since they were always more expensive than other options, this is not a big loss. The no more 7% bonus is a bigger deal (It's most of my annual fee, for instance.).

What's bundled with the 125 or 150 annual fee is the right to give chase 120 or 150 a year. In the past, they've had better sign up offers for paying more, but I guess their marketing data says people will pay 150 for the card. (I won't, and I use the card a lot, and am generally pleased with it. Primary collision on auto rental is a big plus to me, but it's not worth 65 bucks a year.)

I have the CSP and as long as it stays $95 I'll keep it for car rentals now that it has primary coverage as a benefit. $95 is a small price compared to the cost of a rental and the peace of mind it provides.

I wonder the same thing as well. Usually you see this happening to most credit cards with great rewards. I can't remember a CC sustaining all the rewards perks without nerfing their benefits.

CSP is becoming a more likely candidate to be churned. I can't give up the Freedom's 5%. And I need to transfer them to partners.

Hopefully nothing happens to the Ink.

Does AMEX not offer this benefit?

IIRC their standard coverage (not sure it is available for all cards) is secondary and premium is primary.

You can always check directly with the source:

This topic title is misleading. Nothing is happening to 2x UR points on travel and dining.
Chase Sapphire Preferred Visa Signature: 11/2013, $15,000 CL
Chase Freedom Visa: 11/2009, $4,700 CL
    U.S. Bank Cash+ Visa Signature: 11/2013, $11,200 CL
