A data point for CSP approval

Postby freyj6 » Mon Oct 27, 2014 1:53 am

Thought this might be useful. I'd be planning on getting a Chase checking account so when they offered me $300 for it I finally went in and did it. Found out I was pre-approved for CSP.

I didn't get it because I'm waiting to see if they offer a 50,000 signup bonus in the next 2 months, but that's another story.

My credit score is 744 with one of the bureaus and 747 with another. I forget which.

The interesting thing is my income on the app was simply "between 25 and 50k". I remember there's been some debate about a minimum income for the CSP. So technically (at least if you go into the branch) you can get it with any income over 25k.

Granted, some factors like the amount of money I have an my history with the Freedom probably play into their algorithm, but just thought I'd share this :)
Current Strategy

Chase Freedom + Discover IT + Churning
