Should I apply for the Cap One Quicksilver?

Postby fixmycredit92 » Fri Sep 26, 2014 10:40 am

I know they have bad service but better than Amex or Chase and I have burned them in the past but they have short memory. I like getting 1.5% rewards though. Should I apply for the Quicksilver One that's the one Laurence Fishburne is advertising on TV now.

I think it's Samuel Jackson, no? I haven't seen any Laurence Fishburne commercials.

Either way, I mean, why not apply? What's three more HP's when you've already amassed a collection of a hundred or so.

I get you're trying to be more and more ridiculous, but seriously, you're showing your hand now.

And yes, it is Samuel Jackson.

If AMEX and Chase have bad service, then I don't even know where CapitalOne stands...

I believe we are the same age and you're already destroying your credit even more at a young age. If you stopped applying months ago you'd probably have the cards you're so desperate for. You'll not get a Quicksilver card, you don't have good enough credit for that.. I would be surprised if you were able to get Quicksilverone. You think CO are airheads but they'll be the ones who decide whether they want to give you a card or not.. I bet they'll be on your ****list if they don't..

I say go for it - they have a short memory and if you ever do get credit from anyone you'll be sure to declare BK in 6 months and start the fixing all over again. For some it's a never ending process and it would be interesting to know how many times you can burn them over the course of your life and not get blacklisted for life. That's something I don't want to find out personally but if I can live vicariously through you and find out, hey why not.
