Cap one QS Auto CLI

Postby OldMan » Mon Sep 15, 2014 5:53 am

So both me and the DW are fairly new to the credit world, (Although she did have some old cards that she never used and were closed still on her report). So back in March/April, I had her apply for the Quick Silver card from Cap One and she was approved for $300. They enrolled her in the credit steps program and explained that she would be eligible for a CLI after 6 months. Shortly there after she opened an Amex BCE card with a $1000 limit which has since been increased to $3000.

So this morning, her six month was up on the QS, so we logged in to check her balance (morning ritual for me, still get a little nervous), and Wow! $3000 Auto Increase! That's always a nice surprise in the morning.
My Wallet:
Discover IT - $4000;
AMEX BCE $12000;
Citi Double Cash - $6600;
CHASE AARP Visa - $5000;
Banana Republic $1200;
NFM - $20,000;
Sears (Citi) MC - $6000;

I hope Cap One keeps this up. They weren't known for giving such generous CLIs before and I have a good feeling that something has changed. I got a nice 1k bump this month and way more than what I was expecting.
Macy's TLs (21k), Lowes (17k), CSP (10k), Sam's Club (10k), Nordstrom (5k), AARP (4.2k), Freedom (3k), Discover (1.5k), Quicksilver (2k), BoA (3k), Barclaycard Arrival (2.5k), Amazon Store (6k), Paypal (4.9k), Sam's Club MC (3.6k), Walmart MC (1.2k)

Damnit, another good story from CapOne recently? I have not experienced this. I don't know what their deal is. I will have to call them this week for sure.

CapitalOne must be celebrating Christmas early or something! Congratulations :) An auto CLI is amazing to receive, especially with no hard pulls.
