I have a $750 Journey and $750 Platinum. The Platinum is almost 2 years old. Perfect payments on both cards, using them like crazy to pay bills and when I spoke to them (in chat) about upgrading they wouldn't do anything for me. They just gave some crap auto response.
How long have you had yours? I told them I was going to cancel both cards, but it didn't matter.

Perhaps calling the EO can help you out if you're still not able to get anything online or through the CLI button. Maybe you could not only get the upgrade, but a CLI through that and being able to move the limit of your old card to that. Doesn't hurt to try before deciding to close the cards.
Thank you!CarefulBuilder14 wrote:Congrats!
Do you know if your TrueEarnings has started reporting yet to the bureaus? Maybe CO got uneasy about the fact you had gotten an Amex and wouldn't be using them as much / at all?
Or the Costco TE isn't on your credit reports yet?

popamode72 wrote:That's awesome! I was able to upgrade to the QS just by asking someone in the chat whether they had any offers for me at the time. No HP or anything from that either and that was only a few months into having the Journey card BTW.
