I'm guessing these offers only started coming in the last few months? Or had you been getting the PC offers for more than a year?

You are correct on all counts. The upgrade offers just started maybe five months ago, and only on the two lower credit limit cards that I had with them. My higher limit card happens also to be my longest open credit card (early 2003), so I found it a little interesting that they didn't offer to upgrade it via mail offerings. However, doing it by phone was an easy "yes" on their behalf.
AmEx - Platinum (NPSL) , Blue Cash Preferred ($19,000), Gold Delta Skymiles ($8,500)
Chase - Sapphire Preferred ($14,000), Disney ($11,500), Amazon.com ($9,000), Freedom ($8,000)
CapOne - QuickSilver ($7,250) / Platinum Rewards ($7,250)

Well, it is good you were able to keep a 10/11 year old account. And when it comes to a car loan or mortgage, having that account history will help a lot.

I had a CapOne Journey Card for 1 Month and then I applied for a QuickSilver Visa and i was NOT approved. Then after having my Journey Card for 2 Months I decided to call CapOne and requested to Product Change my Journey Card to the Quicksilver Visa and was approved right away. Very happy with them so far even though i have been their customer only for 3 months, since June...

Well, my mortgage has been paid off for a while and no need for a new vehicle in the near future. On the other hand, that card is the only one I have that is more than 3 years old. All the Chase and AmEx cards in my signature arrived in 2013 or 2014.

It's definitely good that you got to keep your oldest account open :) My oldest is my Sapphire, but since I want to open a Preferred, I'm worried my AAoA is going to decrease significantly. I heard you can have both cards open at one time, but I guess I'll see.

Chase Sapphire Preferred | 09/2014 | $10,300
Chase Sapphire | 05/2010 | $5,000
Chase Freedom | 01/2013 | $5,500
CapitalOne Quicksilver | 01/2013 | $2,500
American Express TrueEarnings | 08/2014 | $5,500
Victoria's Secret Angel Card | 04/2011 | $600

FICO | 09/2014 | Experian 738 | Equifax 706 | TransUnion 701
