I'm with bama87 on this: I have a long running 13 year old World MasterCard account with Cap One. My history with them is perfect. I never wait for a service rep. I never receive "scripted" answers: if I ask a question the rep. can't answer, they put me on hold and check with a supervisor. My APR is very low, and twice a year they send me "convenience checks" to cash (up to my credit limit, with no fees at all) at 2.99% valid for one year at that rate. There seems to be a higher tier of service for well established customers.
