What helps is to get rid of the UNION. They SUCK BALLZ. Yes, I have unions and all they represent.

Cmon people... fair wage for fair work. Slack off like most do in that airline and yes, you get nada. VENT over.

I wish people just got back to the basics and worked hard for an honest day's wage.

The whole reason unions started was because people were not getting a fair wage for fair work. Not all union employees are slackers. That's a pretty unfair generalization.

I agree this may not be a fair generalization and there are likely many great unionized workers BUT the fact remains... the many that are the bad seeds really set the expectations for the bunch.

Sorry for the good ones...

Unions are a good idea but to much of a good thing is bad. A company I worked for had to charge more if they had to build in the north-east due to the unions. There is no competition. You cannot go to each of the contractors to try to get a better rate. They all talk to each other to set prices. The rate of construction is also slower since they can only work in a set amount of hours each day set by the union . Also the prices will change by the season so if your project goes beyond your pre-negotiated contract you could look at very steep extra labor costs. I think unions are good when there are limits to them.
Discover IT - $5,700
Chase Freedom - $5,700
Costco Citi - $13,000
Sallie Mae - $4,000
Chase Sapphire Preferred - $6,000
Chase Sapphire Reserve - $19,500
Citi Double Cash - $6,500
Amex BCE - $13,000

FICOs: Discover (777), SallieMae (764), Amex (767), Citi (772)
FAKOs: CK- TU (760), EQ (760)

OK I've got experience with this and can contribute. The trick is know their rules an know it well. Then within the confines of their rules make her job a bloody living hell. Make her feel like she is nothing more than your 'servant'.

It's actually kind of fun breaking them to the point they quit. Make sure you document really well as they will try and come after you. Show you have all the records and they will walk away.

REMEMBER... pay it cool. Ride it out. It does take time as you can't punt them overnight.

Again, I am with you. I will simply fold my company and tell them all to go home. The only way to teach them is to leave them jobless. Get a good lawyer to help you close 'legally' and open up again. Use the previous shutdown as a discouragement for all future union seekers.

Nice. Currently I am documenting her loud Vietnamese personal calls. They usually add up to about 2 hours a day. During this time she pretends to work. I also started to document every physician complaint I get about her. While I cant fire her...I started overloading her with work...hopefully she will crack.

Make sure you time and date stamp the things she does which are offside.

Try and put a real value to the cost of her behavior. Keep this handy with your legal team. When not IF they come back and try to sue, you simple countersue for the usually larger amount she has cost you.

This not only results in them dropping the case and accepting your 'good riddance' package, but it also makes the stab oh that much sweeter.

OH the physical complaing, try and spin that into something more nefarious.

How I wish I was a fly on the wall on this one.
