noise cancellation headsets....

Postby FastSRT8 » Sat Apr 19, 2014 5:26 pm

Just bought a pair of Bose QC 20i (iPhone Version) for use with my NON -iPhone Blackberry Z30.

For all those on the fence, it works! All features on the remote works! Everything. Best part is I can also use it on my apple products.

The Bose QC20i was purchased to complement my Bose QC3 which I still have and love. The reason why I got the smaller in-ear QC20i is I wanted to remain more conspicuous on my current commute. Didn't want any undue attention which large over the ear headsets bring. Don't care on a plane, but on a train or subway its a different story.

Either way, both are great great units. I am not a audio purist so those that are, please note I am by far an expert in high end headset sound output quality. This is merely my personal observation - these are pretty decent headsets.

Noise cancellation is excellent and definitely not worse than the QC3.

I have a Bose headset too (which is, in fact, a noise cancellation headset). Couldn't be any happier.
Exactly like you, I'm really no expert nor big fan hence any more detailed description should be done by people who actually know something about this kind of stuff.

I also have the QC20s. It's amazing how much noise we encounter every day without even knowing it. I won't fly again without them. My review.

I ended up going the quality sound route. The Bose are, far and away, the best at blocking out noise. I owned the in-ear, and I've tried friends' earmuff-style. You're totally on your own planet. BUT, my music just didn't sound right. I ended up going with the Velodyne V-pulse. With properly fitted buds (they give you 6 size choices with purchase, so there's something for everyone), they do a *decent* job of blocking out external noises while providing a high-quality listening experience.

How do you like your QC3's? The reason I am asking is I am trying to figure out what to do with mine.

I love them! Literally! So, you have a pair too? I think thrums be worth some money on the used market. You could think about selling them.

I think they call it SWAG.
Oh my god... That sounds utterly ridicolous. Ahaha
