As a sequel to "any car guys in here" was just wondering if I had any fellow motorcycle/motorbike riders in here?

Heres my current toy.

nismo: Thanks man.

the new zx6r is a great bike. I rode one a few months back and it was one of the quietest and smoothest bikes ive ever ridden. Its a sports bike by all means, but its comfy like a cruiser. The rider position and seat comfort are great.

At the track, I think this is the turn right before I dumped it.

i love to see professionals on them.....like surgeons hands at 170mph............but I am terrified of the power and speed....its ungodly....straight from the devils imagination....when i was on one....I requested a short rolling power run to 70mph from a near standstill..... i can say with all earnestness.....that's the fastest I have ever accelerated in my life. it was.....I imagine what the "hand of God" must feel like.

when i got off.....processing how far we moved in the time we did....I can't compare it to any human experience. the stopping power is ridiculous. I felt the inertia of my stomach contents sloshing around and we had already stopped. I know that he held back and for good reason....I would not be able to handle that kind of power unleashed all at once.

.....never again. :D

for those that ride respectfully.........you have my hat off to you....

Haha thanks. It takes years and lots of experience to ride these things with a marginal amount of safety. If you've owned one, youll know...your machine gets slow when you get used to it. A 600cc feels like a moped to me now. I don't think ill ever feel like the ducati is too slow for me though...its too much animal for the road...we need a racetrack here.

is there enough viable real estate? Is it possible to safely put a track atop a volcano? (all jokes aside)

I've always loved motorcycles and I've mostly owned dirtbikes. In a few years, I wanna save for a Bike (though not a Ducati, my friend has one and the power of that bike is something else IMO.) One day, One day.

Killer bike. Nice to have another DUC rider on the boards. Love your helmet too. That Isle of man corsair V must have set you back a pretty penny. I think if I dumped mine like that id cry like a little girl. Were you ok? Any injury?
