But the "community leader" myjourney got it all wrong:

"most of the haters from that site are people who have been banned from here... mostly for not respecting others" No, most were banned for not toeing the narrow myfico party line and agreeing with everything the mods and "community morons(leaders)" said. The difference between this forum and FICO is that here, we are allowed to disagree with others respectfully without being accused of "causing problems".

"I find it funny that they tend to get all there(sic) valued info over here:Sure, I get some valuable info at fico, but you really have to sift through the vast quantity of manure to get a few small pebbles of gold. Here on ccf, there is much less noise. Even those who I frequently disagree with state their arguments thoughtfully and articulately.

"I think both forums have great info minus the one person over there who keeps the cult term going and his followers who can't think for themselves" Maybe if they didn't act so cult-like at fico, there'd be nothing to keep going. And followers who can't think for themselves? Please! The average ccf.com poster has an IQ at least 30-40 points higher than the average myfico poster.

"If you hate this site so much... why do you find ways to register and read since your ip is blocked" Well, Mr. my journey... it is the 21st century, we have these things called smart phones. I also do a lot of traveling on weekends and stay at hotels with wifi access. Even with a blocked IP, one does not have to go out of ones way to access your website(which is fair since your website continues to spam my e-mail address even though I have sent countless requests to unsubscribe). Not admitting I was tonight's troll... just saying...

I haven't posted on FICO in years now. I am banned but even if I wasn't I have no interest in posting anything there. I did see that thread I thought it was hilarious. I'm sure that account who posted it will be banned shortly if they aren't already in keeping with the great free flow of information there. I suspected otter but who knows.

We've had a good number of troll posts over here lately too I suspect it's the losers with 20 community 100-200 limit cards doing it but I have no proof and really don't care - let them troll it's funny more than anything (you can tell them right away when they start out with I'm a college student with no income or credit how do I get an Amex Centurion....) It's funny the first 5 or so times then after that you just tune it out. But over there, they ban - anything they see that isn't 1000% PC or in line with their thinking is instant ban material. For God and America and freedom, of course.

I think that's the difference. Here people are focused on getting cards, there they are focused on NOT getting cards, those 25 or 30 they have in their signatures just found their way into their wallet after a hard night of drinking....

One thing I will say - here you are encouraged to think for yourself and do what is right for you. There they are the folks who are trying to squelch anything they don't like and convince you their way is THE way. I work in IT so I'm very familiar with nerds (programmers) and their terminology. When a nerd says he wants to sit down with you and develop "standards" that means he really expects you to do everything the same way he does. That's kinda like FICO the way I see it.

I should go in there and BASH the term gardening. Post this link and let them know how I define 'gardening'
