I just discovered a desire for home ownership

Postby MemberSince99 » Thu Jan 09, 2014 6:55 pm

I got a call from the dump apartment I live in tonight as I'm leaving work. That can't be good I thought. It wasn't. Apparently one of their sprinkler system pipes broke and spewed water in my apartment. Now I get to go to a hotel while they try to clean up the mess.

Who knows what stuff is destroyed. I guess time will tell.

But this taught me I'm done being a rental slave. I have good credit I might as well use it and buy a place and not pay their mortgage (which is stupid in the first place) and not have to get treated like a Roman mine slave (though if I got to bang the chicks they banged in "Spartacus" I'd be tempted to try out for gladiator school!)

Enough of this garbage. Their priority is protecting their property at all costs. Everything else is secondary.

I need to look out for me. Sure as hell no one else will.

I'm probably about a year or two away from looking to get my own home, but waiting until I get transfered back to Colorado and away from this hell-hole known as Wyoming.

Otter I hope you can escape but at least enjoy the sky while you are there

Lex may be a real sweetie in real life but I kinda get the feeling she would strap it on a dude maybe that's just me

But I'd love something encrusted in jewels ala rupaul

I'm still pissed I need to harness this anger to stop living in dumps like that and buy

I cringe at the hit my credit will take but I cringe more paying big bucks for crap

I'm paying over a grand a month in the Midwest to live in the rents basement basically with this dump apartment what a dumb thing to do

And if I file a claim with the insurance two things will happen one they will say what happened isn't covered two they will raise my rate

Everyone wants me to take it in the shorts again par for the course in the corporate states of fascism

God I'm just tired of this crap its a broken record if you work for a living get used to getting bent over by everyone

Sure, over time it will, but initially it won't. The inquiries and new debt will surely drop it for at least the first 6 months if not a year then after that I would guess it would go back up.

Remember that multiple mortgage inquiries within a (I think) 45-day period are lumped into one for scoring purposes. Also, a mortgage doesn't change your utilization. In fact, upon reporting, a mortgage diversifies your debt and may increase your score.

My TU and EX stayed steady during the application process. My EQ dropped five points because the mortgages were my first inquiry on EQ.

Mine rose about 50 points when the mortgage hit the report. Having a mortgage diversifies your debt. They love that.
