Just read about the Black Friday violence

Postby MemberSince99 » Fri Nov 29, 2013 6:54 pm

Cops shooting at a guy's car who was accused of shoplifting and tried to drive off with the cop's arm stuck, stabbings, fights, brawls, numerous stampedes, trampling, mayhem, wow it's just unreal.

I'm starting to think you'd be safer in Baghdad than in these stores on Black Friday.

I just wonder what kind of country we've become where people behave this way. No one really has any spirit of the holidays anymore - it's just a greed fest where people spend more than they can afford to spend and act like gangsters trying to save a few bucks. No one I talk with really likes the holidays they are just an obligation you have to get over with. Pretty sad really.

Yeah let's spend the afternoon stuffing our faces and being thankful for all we have...for a few hours, and then, to hell with that, it's time to be as selfish as possible and get a ton of junk, even if it means fighting/hurting someone! 'Merica! Cyber Monday works just fine for me. The world is slowly going mad.

I beat the snot out of a ten year old girl to get a PS4 this morning. The $200 I saved was well worth the battery charges.

Given the product, I can't say I blame you. She wouldn't be good at any of the games anyway.

Good thing you are an attorney - I hear her parents planned to sue you for this. Then the newsflash said their lawyer advised them that Walmart has deeper pockets than you do so it makes more sense to sue the company. Talk about getting off the hook there.

You always go after the deep pockets.

(As an aside, I do agree that Black Friday is ridiculous.)

There's a reason it's called Black Friday.

Sorry but I read all the crap that happens on Black Friday and can't believe the number of redneck hicks you guys harbor in the US!

Crap you guys have a problem. If those hicks had half a brain, you guys will have a civil war on your hands. It's a good thing those inbreds are literally breeding for 364 days of the year. Black Friday is when they go out and stretch their limbs. LOL

It seems like Walmart is where most of the problems happen, comes from their high class clientele no doubt. Amex is said to look down on Walmart shoppers, I thought at first that was ridiculous, but maybe they have a point.

We do have a lot of problems though, and if anyone has the answers, no one is giving them away. The country I grew up in seems dead to be honest, replaced by something Orwell would have written about. Oh well that's another topic, though the chaos on Black Friday is part of that I'm sure. I just hope everyone here stayed safe. They can't trample you if you don't go in the first place.

I just read the shooting yesterday happened at a Kohl's parking lot in Chicago, the one who was accused of shoplifting and dragged a cop so they shot at him. Bet his day didn't turn out the way he planned.
