Best Case To Use With My iPhone 5s?

Postby Dylan1982 » Tue Nov 19, 2013 3:11 am

So question for the guys that have an iPhone 5 or 5s..

What case are you guys using? I bought a lifeProof case today and I am not totally happy with it. I know it is one of the best cases on the market. I only bought it bc I got it on sale.

It sucks that the audio is muffled. It sucks that I can't use my touch id lol. Phone is a little bulkier and some of the buttons are harder to push.

So what cases are you guys rocking?

I use a Mophie battery case because I've always needed the extra battery life. I've noticed I'm activating the case left often with the 5s but it's still good to have it as a backup. One downside is it ads a lot of bulk. On my work iPhone 5 I just put the leather Apple case on it, which I am really happy with. Did you get the Lifeproof case from Groupon? If so, I did also but found out the seller was selling counterfeit cases and Groupon said to stop using it, especially for hardcore stuff like underwater and dirty situations.

The Mophie battery case is great. But for protection I use the Commuter case from Otter Box and a Speck case. Both great protection at a reasonable price. Plus they don't bulk up the phone too much.

I keep my iPhone naked, the way it was meant to be.

I suspect you like that term "naked" quite a bit. :)

I use a rubber case on mine except for the screen where I use one that uses liquid to get a seal, which works better than the kind that you squeegee on they got air bubbles and junk under it and didn't last long.

I did go naked with my 4, but that resulted in the glass having some kind of weird marking from where my ear touched it, believe it or not. I realize I'm a hairy troll, but I wouldn't have expected that.

I have no idea what you're insinuating, but I don't like it. Not one bit.

When I had my iPhone 4 I decided to go naked.... was in an elevator at work and if you guys don't know women's dress pants do not have good pockets. Well was grabbing my laptop bag and was trying to put my phone back into my pocket and it fell. Picked it up and the back was shattered. The sucky thing was that the day before I had my otter box on it and had decided it was to bulky and I wanted to go naked.
