Interesting drivers

Postby MemberSince99 » Tue Aug 13, 2013 3:55 pm

We get some, how do I say it, interesting people on the roads.

One example: today I do my usual, I"m in the left hand on a four lane road, getting ready to turn into work on the left side. Put on the blinker, slow down to get ready for the turn, as I'm turning, the guy behind me lays on the horn, aggravated that I dared to turn in front of him and inconvenience him so terribly that way.

I was honestly so shocked at the insanity of it, I didn't even think to give him the single digit salute so commonly seen on our roads. I have seen this before, though.

I find it bizarre how some people apparently feel that those in front of them have no right to turn off the road until they are no longer behind them. How do their minds work I wonder that they are so wonderful nothing in life must inconvenience them.

As a side note, the right lane was wide open, if it was me and I was in a hurry I'd have just switched lanes, but even so I figure people have the right to turn into their destination so I wouldn't have honked for that in any case.

You obviously did something blatantly wrong and you're just not telling us about it. No one would honk at you like that without a good reason.

Maybe your blinker was out and he was just trying to alert you of the dangers in having a light out...

You guys obviously haven't met the rednecks we have here in Wisconsin. I've had it happen before this isn't the first time. They also like to sit behind you when you are at a light waiting to turn left, unable to go while the traffic going straight goes, and lay on the horn like you should pull out into traffic too. I kid you not. It's happened. I was like w-t-f do you seriously think that's a good idea or you are getting anywhere any faster that way, or are you just 13 in a 50 year old body?

So yeah, that's how it happened.

Two other habits of the drivers here I just HATE - when making a right hand turn, they will pull into your lane on the left as if they are driving a semi to make the turn even though there is no need whatsoever to do this, so then you have to swerve to avoid the idiots.
Second one - when pulling up to the light they "creep" along at a walking pace for the last 100 yards up to within 30 feet of the vehicle in front of them, then a few seconds later it hits these dumb@sses that they aren't close enough so they creep another 5 feet. Rinse and repeat until they are right on the bumper of the vehicle in front of them.

I'm dead serious not kidding that's how these morons drive here.

And I almost forgot - the winners who use the right hand turn lane as the passing lane, not just when traffic is moving - no these "special" individuals (as in the inbred retards rode the short bus to school special) sit there in the turning lane through the whole light preventing everyone behind them from turning, then floor it at the light and quick cut off the guy next to them to get in front. The best ones are the jerk offs who then immediately hit the brakes and drive 5 or 10 under the limit. I hope there is a special cell in hell for those guys.

just to keep you sane, i was being sarcastic. I'm from MA dude, theres a reason drivers in MA are called MA$$HOLES, we are literally the most psycho and irrational drivers out there, but im glad to know Wisconsin is giving us a run for our money

THIS is where having a windshield washer nozzle mounted in your rear bumper pointing backwards spraying an oily substance to this aholes car is a good idea. Hell, fill it with fertilizer so it smells bad is an even better idea.

Having grown up right next door in Illinois, I'm extremely familiar with redneck cheeseheads. I always thought it was a condition brought on by too many mosquito bites leaving them with a severe lack of blood to the brain.

I think they were just born that way in most cases. A few had to work on it.

They do have a term here though for people from Illinois (which they pronounce Ill-i-noise) which can't be printed in the family paper which I'm sure you've heard.
