some people

Postby MB131174 » Mon Jul 22, 2013 9:17 am

Seems as if some people on this board are overly critical of others and their ways of doing things, preferences, etc. Sometimes they even come off as having an "I'm better than you" complex. Anyone else think this to be true? Makes using this forum much less enjoyable. If something works for someone, then it works. Everyone's needs are different. So to say that a particular item/reward "isn't that great" isn't the right thing to do. If it works for you, great. If not, no need to Debbie Down someone else that it does work for. Some people need to get a life.

Id be thankful if I posted a reward and people pointed out how it wasnt as good as i thought it was. If you are posting on a public forum, you are going to get some negative comments at some point. Goes with the territory. Loosen up a little.

What I'm saying is that for them it may suck, but for someone else it may be perfect. You're saying exactly what I was talking about.

It would suck for you too to spend $40 on a certificate you can get for $20.

If you read the link DavidNY posted, you would have found that out.

And if it is perfect for you, who cares what anyone else says? You're on a public forum. Not everyone is going to agree with you.

If you're referring to my comment, it was solely to make sure you understood the true value. I'm here to help, since others have helped me. Nothing personal.

Unfortunately, we will always have to put up with that type of behavior in just about every forums, except myfico. I swear every post I have read there have nothing but positive comments/expressions. I feel going there in that site is just like going to some sick wonderland fantasy. I doubt they're the same in life.

I'll roll my eyes whenever someone says "Citi Forward gives you %5 back", but it's not worth fighting over stuff like that.
