I got a Miele built in coffee machine in my kitchen.

If you want a table top model, Jura, Seiko (I think thats how its spelt) are good mainstream models that are not crap

How do you suppose Chinese tourists feel when they visit America and purchase a souvenir only to discover it was made in China?

I'm pretty sure they DON'T buy souvenir's here while traveling. Why should they pay more when they can get it cheap right at home from the source!

I hear good things about Jura. I have one of their grinders - conical burr is the only way.

But there's an even simpler way to fix your problem, Member: Get a Bodum french press for $20. As long as you don't drop it, it will last forever and it will make much better coffee than any machine you can buy.

HA I got the Bunn last night, plugged it in and filled it with water. Went to turn it on and use this morning - NOTHING. Doesn't brew anything. I've had this model before I know how to use it. This one does not work from the get go.

Talk about quality. Or lack of. But hey at least this crap is CHEAP. I work for people like that - it's like it almost doesn't matter if it's right so long as it's fast and cheap. I really just don't "get" this sort of thinking.

Bad pun but it's literally a crap shoot as to whether this garbage even works out of the box. If it does and it lasts 6 months before it goes to hell, that's one rugged piece of crap. May as well just pitch it in the landfill from the get go.

I'm sending it back for a refund. I guess ordering stuff like this online is not really a great idea.

None of the machines I've used have been that great, my parents' keurig is always breaking. I just take the 200 mg caffeine pills, its cheaper and quicker in the morning. $0.03/ct in bulk is much cheaper than even just coffee beans, let alone amortizing a high end machine, paying for soy milk, and stevia extract, etc.
