Personalized Credit Card Images

Postby ivotedale » Mon May 06, 2013 8:30 pm

I was between boredom and creativity today, so I ended up Googling "personalized credit cards" for inspiration on making a new design for my old sock-drawered Cap 1.

I know it's old news, but I about died laughing at this one:

Anyone else try toying with a custom design on a card?

LOL

I don't have a Cap 1, but I've swiped some rather peculiar cards at work. One lady had a picture of herself kissing her boyfriend (but the image was in terrible quality so it looked bad), and I also saw one with a picture of their dog's butt. No joke.

This sounds like crazy fun but the novelty would wear off really fast for me. Then what... I would be stuck with a 'bad' picture on my card. No thanks.

What about a cosmetically identical replica of the Centurion card design? Wonder how many that would fool??

My debit card is an awesome panorama of a Utah Jazz vs. Houston Rockets playoff game at tipoff that shows the whole arena. Jazz fan here. Sadly, my debit card hasn't been outside my safe for at least a year so I never get to see it. I was trying to find the photo on my computer because I thought I had it saved but can't find it. It was professionally taken by the Jazz and provided on their website maybe five years ago.

For me, that's why I wanted to do this in the first place. It's my sock-drawered card, so it would be comical to look at it in the drawer every now and again.

@Z06Biker- I keep hearing of a lot of folks mimicking "black cards" but I'm sure a faux centurion design could be rejected by someone like Cap1. Although I'm stoked about the dude's hair/pseudo mugshot haha.
