Wallets

Postby cashback » Sat Jan 05, 2013 9:07 pm

I just got a BigSkinny wallet for Christmas, so I figured I'd share how awesome it is. This is the wallet I got (Link). It's the best wallet I've ever had. It is so skinny compared to other wallets and I have about 25 cards in it. I'm always checking my back pocket now to make sure it's still there because I can't feel it.

The only complaint I think anyone could have with it is that you have to stack cards(each pouch fits 10 cards). I don't have a problem with this because I always ended up stacking cards with any wallet because of the amount of cards I have.

So if anyone else like me wants to get rid of their bulky wallet that you can't even sit on, I recommend this one!

I also considered the Savvy Caddy but decided against it because of the weird privacy flaps it had. I found them to be unnecessary. Also some of the reviews said it was difficult to get the cards out from the plastic holders.

I have and love the Savvy Caddy. No stacks of cards; its more like a full portfolio. Not hard at all to get cards in and out. Don't see whats wrong with the privacy flaps; wouldn't care if it didn't have them though.

I just didn't understand why they need to be there. I think I would have bought it without them...

The idea is to give you the option of shielding your cards when you open up the cash/checks section so that nobody will see your info inadvertently. It also has an ID window on the flap that would require an altered design to have with the other slots. I like how when they're lifted you can see all your cards no part obscured without disturbing the cards like in a stack or even a conventional wallet and see the # without taking it out if you're doing an online purchase. The capacity including the ID window is a whopping 33 cards for their SC-32 and its less than an inch thick, and flexible like yours so you can sit on it (although I keep mine in a front pocket).
