How long for posts to be approved for new members?

It took less than a week for me to be approved. I think part of it is that the admin needs to be sure that you are not acting to get approval so you can spam. Once they are confident that you are a actual person that want to add to the discussion then they approve you. So I am guessing that if you post a good question and provide good quality posts then you will get approved a lot faster than you would if you just gave short answers. I am also sure that it also depends on the when they are online since they are also people that have lives outside of this site.
