Rory wrote:Just a quick note on purses,

Bought my ex a 1500+ salvatore ferragamo purse, the color and style she wanted and it was perfect for about a week. Then i never saw it again and whenever i asked, she would fish it out and use it for the night. Get them a giftcard or better yet get her a picture of a hideous one and say that it was the best one you could find and would she either like it or to go and pick whichever one she would actually like with her. Thats what i did the second christmas and worked like a charm. She was still using it months after we broke up and i feel like i got my money's worth, in various forms of repayment ;)

This last sentence made me cackle at my desk at work! :)

I bought my girlfriend a black wallet that is being shipped to me as we speak. Of course she texts me on Saturday and states that she bought a black purse and wallet. I told her what I got her and she said she would use it for one of her other purses.
