At least so far. So for me, I need to replenish that small portion of my savings, pay off my computer that I bought on my Discover card at 0%, and go back to the frugal me.

One of my previous vehicles was a 1999 Jeep Cherokee! I loved it (and the 1989 Jeep Cherokee I had as well!) Both of mine were black. What color is your new Jeep? Fun!

I got a new vehicle for Christmas as well! A 2012 4Runner. So I am happy. Just excited to see the kiddos face on Christmas morning and thankful for everything we have. My folks do require a Christmas list from us so I included a few items on it like a new Patagonia jacket, some books and some jewelry.

Fun thread Rory! Have a good trip!

I really want to go with the girlfriend to China next September. I will start saving now as it will be quite a bit with everything but at least I now have some great cards to get good points on. Great Wall, Hong Kong, and poker in Macau!

As far as "stuff" goes, I really want two SATA SSD's for a computer I am building. One for the OS and one for all applications to go.
In My Wallet
American Express True Earnings (($2,000)) Aug '12
Chase Freedom Visa (($3,000)) Dec '12
Discover More (($3,000)) Dec '12
PenFed Platinum Cash Rewards (($7,000)) Dec '12
Amex Blue Cash Everyday (($3,500)) Dec '12
U.S. Bank Cash Plus (($10,500)) Dec '12

Got my bindings last weekend. REI was having a promotion where you get a $20 card for each $100+ purchase.

I used the REI Visa to buy 4x$100 gift cards - not dividendable normally, but 5% dividend because of the REI Visa. Each netted me a $20 promo.

Then, I went to get my new ski bindings (Marker Duke EPF), paid with the gift cards, got my 10% dividend, and another $20 promo card.

Total Purchase - $483 --- $400 gc and $83 on the REI Visa.
Total Dividend - $60.75 (10% of $483 + 5% of $83) + $20.00 (5% of $400)
Promo Cards - 5 x $20
Total Haul - $180.75 on a $483 purchase - 37% back.

Then, I get 10% back when I use the promo cards.

Someone on FlyerTalk pointed out that my math may be off. Off or not, I'm happy.

But, I need another thing to want, now.

White. Has some backlash in the rear so it'll just be beat on until it lets go, and then I'll rebuild/regear. I had to do valve cover gasket, plugs/wires/distributor cap/rotor... that stuff was original... nothing left of plugs. Literally. Gap was at least 1/4". Headlights are worthless, just opened the package for my new ones before I wrote this reply. Below freezing outside and I'll be installing them in a few minutes in the dark. It has brand new tires though, so that's good. Almost ready for winter.

First girly gift idea here lol
Good luck on the hermes birkin, my aunt has a few and they are beautiful but just crazy expensive. Also that store is full of stuck up pricky salespeople, worst customer service i have ever experienced.

Perhaps someday, Vermonster. I think I'm a pretty good player, but my experience is limited and I'll be looking for area tournaments where I can see if I am any good.
