Chase website 9/20/12

Postby jeffysdad » Thu Sep 20, 2012 6:49 am

And at 6:40 CDT Thursday, 9/20/12 it's still not working.

RE:
NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Chase's website was slow and unavailable for some users for several hours on Wednesday, one day after Bank of America experienced similar issues.

Around 1:40 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Chase's Twitter account tweeted: "Chase.com is experiencing intermittent issues. We're working to restore full connectivity & apologize for any inconvenience." Chase spokesman Patrick Linehan repeated a similar statement, and declined to comment further on the reason for the problems.

Monitoring firm Keynote says the trouble appeared to start around 12:15 pm ET and was mostly resolved by the late afternoon, although some sluggishness remained.

Yeah. They say "Sorry! We're having issues!"

Meanwhile, the same terrorist hackers that claimed credit for knocking BofA of the web last week are bragging about Chase.

I found the chase site was unavailable last night, and worked this morning.

No recent issues with the BofA site.

It's still not working for me as of 11 a.m. CDT. Glad there's nothing urgent I have to do on there.

I was able to access the site intermittently yesterday - enough to get an SM off asking for a signature upgrade on my Freedom.

It's Friday morning and it's still not working. Now I'm angry because I do need to access my checking account. The website hasn't worked properly for me since Tuesday. I've tried it with the browser I usually use (Firefox) and Safari and get the same result.

This is completely ridiculous now. News stories online hint at problems but then say they're "mostly resolved." As far as I'm concerned, that's BS.

Is anyone having similar trouble with Chase or BofA?

I'm calling the bank later today after the American CSRs have had their coffee.

I got in on the second try today. Just needed to refresh once. Try clearing the browser cache.

I did that; didn't help. I was able to get into the site after multiple attempts this morning. However, I can't even get the login page to load now. I got done what I needed to this a.m., but still it's very annoying. I know it's not my computer or browsers because everything but Chase is as fast as usual.

Chase.com is having problems. Mint is having trouble connecting at times.
