The omega since I saw goldeneye as a kid, and the rolex because my uncle had one when I was a kid. I just turned 30, so I feel that im old enough for the rolex now. In my 20s I figured that people would think it was fake :/
I hear ya. I'm 31, and I've always wanted a Rolex Submariner since I was a kid, ever since I saw Sean Connery wearing one in one of the old Bond movies. (Goldfinger, I believe) My father and grandfather both had Day-Date President Rolex, and I knew since I was pretty young that someday I'd have to have one. Originally, I went into the AD to get a sub with date, and they didn't have one. They had a sub no date, but they had just gotten in the new Blue/Black GMT Master II the day before I came in the store. I wound up buying it because I liked the idea of the GMT function when traveling, and the blue/black bezel looks so amazing in daylight, yet so subtle indoors.
My list of watches to acquire goes like this: Rolex Deepsea SeaDweller, Patek Aquanaut, AP Royal Oak with Panda Dial, and eventually a Rolex Daytona. Do you have a list of watches you plan on buying some day?
