i really want to get one of the tungstenW biometric wallets but $600 for a bulky wallet doesnt exactly fit my style or my wallet budget lol

true a wallet is a wallet whether its 5 dollars or 300. Its pretty hard i imagine to screw up the functionality of a wallet but in my case it was simply conspicuous consumption. my family has a sweet tooth for the higher end and what i mean by that is brands that havent fallen prey to obscenely large emblems and insignias. Coach, LV, and other such brands have slowly been increasing the size of their brands logos and in my opinion ruining them. I want a natural feeling, extremely high quality wallet, that is comparable to the amount of worth that i stick inside it. I don't want some 5$ faux leather wallet holding my amex's just as you dont want to wear swim trunks in a Lamborghini. in my view i feel that high class cards and such deserve a high class home, so my wallet reflects that. but that is all a matter of opinion and ferragamo has been very subtle in its branding so i dont mind purchasing their products and knowing that only a select portion of the population will recognize its craftsmanship and quality material.

Hartmann belting leather gusseted card case:

Image

Mine has the old-school Hartmann logo, however - all lowercase letters. I love how the leather ages.

The gusseted slot holds, from the rear forward, my bar card, Starbucks Gold, $2 bill (a gift from my grandfather, r.i.p.), REI Visa, Discover More, and Chase Freedom. The front slot holds my Amex PRG. My driver's license occupies the windowed slot. I think it could hold another two cards easily.

I'm using a Joseph Abboud Black Leather Card Case that I picked up for about $6. ;)
Surprisingly it's very well made, and its ultra-slim form factor is a big plus.

I'm sporting a Tommy Hilfiger black leather wallet, with 4 card slots, 2 sections for cash/checks, and one pocket with a window for license and business card. Got it as a Christmas gift eight years ago, accidentally left it in my jeans and washed them... annnddd it's still going strong. But I'm really eyeing that LV card holder :)

im gonna go and invest in LV seems everyone likes their stuff these days. I agree that their old luggage items are to die for but their newer products just seem tacky and scream that they are LV not very classy by my calculations. None the less we gotta post some pictures here of our wallets imma get things started once i find my camera...

I have that same one in black, waiting for my current Hartmann to kick the bucket.

What's with the stitches at the bottom of the wallet in the first picture? Did Tumi sew it that sloppily or am I just seeing things? That's not their usual quality.
