JCarter..... they have got me into the China Club (members only) for the famed Saturday dim sum brunch, got dinner reservations at Tin Lung Heen (at the Ritz). Asked them for other Chinese restaurants (famed) but not in hotels. They seem to have given me all the ones inside the large hotels.

Also got a list of tailors to visit. One of which was the one you recommended

I'm only a Platinum card holder, but I have used them for gifts for mothers day or my anniversary when I have forgotten and let it get to late to do the shopping myself ( happens a lot). It seems to me the only difference is Centurion has a dedicated concierge and platinum goes to the pool. Is that correct?

No, we at Centurion (Canada at least) have a pool as well. The only difference is, we are supposed to have their 'very best' employees. That and our pool of members is smaller so we in theory are supposed to get better service.

Regardless, we are all bound by what is really possible to do.

perhaps I can get the Plat concierge to figure out a $1,000 roundtrip Miami to Monte Carlo, Monaco that doesn't involve overnight layovers (when the lounges are closed) lol

Ohhh well in that case, they will take care of you BUT likely not for the $1k you are hooping for. Realistically, their recommendations tend to run you more than the average travel agency's quote.
