It's the result of a malfunctioning wireless keyboard, three incorrect login attempts, and no one at MF in a rush to help a member who doesn't pay for any of their services complete a very complicated password reset process.

That's pretty pathetic. Why can't they fix it?

It honestly blows my mind that people who are regulars on that site, and clearly should know a thing or two, apply for things blindly without researching and ask questions later.

That goes for about 90 percent of the regulars around there. There are a select few that know what they're doing but not much.

Of course in my case, guilty as charged since I'm not a big credit card fanatic, not big enough for that place anyway.

I'll just stick with the four cards I do have and go for my big goal, a townhouse or small-ish ranch style house. Hopefully the prices will have dropped by the time I'm ready to purchase.

It's really sad seeing the same people on there app for cards over and over and over. Some of them have gotten, by my rough count, 5 or 6 cards in the last month. They act as if this is normal behavior.

Normal behavior is all relative. Plenty of people would say having more than 3 or 4 cards, total, is excessive.

The comment about gaydale cracked me up.

I still read it but I've gone months without it. So many congrats +1 it makes me wanna puke. I get the rah rah and being happy but after 5 or 10 of those on one post isn't it enough why have 50 of them does that add a thing

And seeing the mods and their pets bullying others just shows how middle school it is

I hope being able to bully people on the forum makes up for what they lack in life

The approvals section is very strange and I basically avoid it. 50 pages of meaningless "congrats!". I don't even post when I get approved or for a CLI unless I feel it's a useful data point for someone (i.e., got a CLI after x amount of time, or whatever). But otherwise, why do I need a bunch of strangers to tell me "congrats!" whether I say I got a Double Cash with a 10k limit or a $300 buypower?

I don't have a login there. I do read some of the threads and the approvals section is mostly what I read. I like to see the starting limits people get for cards I have or cards I am interested in.

I strongly dislike the practice of repeating "congrats" over and over. It's like the commercials on a drawn out tv show. I do like parts of the approvals section but that part is useless and annoying.

It's incredible how far some people there will go to avoid admitting they made a mistake. So much room is allowed for "personal preferences" that people invoke that defense whenever they don't like the implications of objective analysis.

If they don't wanna be criticized then they shouldn't post their fk-ups.

Agreed. I do think half of them are unaware that they f'd up, not that it's an excuse for denying it once it's pointed out...
