He's (or she, I don't know) is very defensive, which is typical of people who know they have a problem. Alas, I'm never responding to one of their AA threads again (and more will come the way they app their brains out).

It is sort of funny to compare Amex and Comenity threads. $1k from Amex seems to be treated like it's some sort of sacred trust, while $10k from Comenity is like it's a loan in Monopoly money.

Comenity should be so fortunate to have me accept a paltry $10K CL from them. I would accept it - if only out of pity - because it would likely be the only thing keeping them from going bankrupt

I tried to log in and it said my password was invalid, and also that my other information (DOB and SSN) could not be found in their system. Not sure if I've been banned (haven't posted anything remotely iffy lately) or if they are having IT problems. There's no actual "disciplinary" message, they're just insisting my password is wrong. Maybe it's because of things I post here?

Oh well, no big loss. No IT problems here or on FT.

I did check my account just for giggles, and I still have no posting ability. Not a huge deal since this is the first time I've been there in weeks. I did see CreditAddict got more AA from Bank of America for having too much credit. What's that phrase about chickens and roosting?
Wallet: Chase Freedom, Discover IT

I hate how the forum responds to AA threads. Everyone gets all "Kumbaya" and says "well, CA is just posting so others can learn!"

No, his original thread came off not as "posting so others can learn from my mistakes", but as "OMG BOA is a bunch of crooks and closed my accounts!"

And what's with the "learning" thing, anyway? It's common sense not to open 25 accounts in a month or whatever. "Learning" gets confused with "common sense" way too often on that site and everyone kisses everyone's behind under the guise of "thanks for helping others learn!".

Can you post or PM me a link? I'd like to read the thread and I don't much know how to navigate that site.
