Are you a Yankee or a Rebel?

Postby Whatamuji » Wed Sep 02, 2015 12:06 pm

Take the following quiz and post your response here if you please:

Something I'm wondering about and would like yalls feedback on is this: Can someone not born in this country adopt a Yankee or Rebel identity / accent?

21% Dixie. You are a dandy Yankee Doodle.

Little surprised it was that high. I'm very New England, and people make sure they tell me when we first meet.

When I took the quiz for class it scored me high in the Yankee category. So I took the Advanced Quiz, and I scored high in the Rebel category. I do use some Yankee-isms from time to time due to my family being from Michigan.

79% Dixie. Your neck must be a just little rosy!

29%. I've spent a lot of time in the NYC area and California, but don't use much of the localized language.
Very useful: SchwabPlat, CSP, IHG, Costco (was AA Plat), Freedom, SPG, Prestige (retention)
Somewhat useful: Discover, ED (was EDP), BCE, Hyatt
SD with activity alerts, might close: Arrival and Brooks Bros

Might add: Proper business card, CSR, Ritz, Delta Gold, First Tech, BofA Travel PH
