Another thing to try - and they only have it rarely - is pinot noir from Willamette Valley Vineyards ($13).
You can get it easily online or at other stores, but only for a much higher price ($25-$40). If you're not a big wine fan (let alone a pinot fan), I wouldn't suggest paying the higher price.
But if you do see a bottle for $13, you might try it.
*Dr. L is also good - a sweet German riesling. It's about $11 but you can get it in other stores for a similar price. It's not quite as good a bargain as the other bottles I've mentioned and might be too sweet for your taste.
