What do you think of Donald Trump?

Postby Gamma » Wed Jul 01, 2015 5:14 pm

After hearing his little hate speech last month about mexican/hispanic immigrants especially the part where he called them all out as rapist, I'm really surprised he decided to run as president. I think of him as a joke, a clown running for president as mentioned in a magazine. I'm completely baffled as to why one would give this sort of speech the day you announce your plan to run for presidency. He just lost that chance that very same day. What a fool.

Love: IHG, Platinum, Sallie Mae, AA Plat, CSP
Like: Discover, ED, BCE, Hyatt, Arrival, Freedom
Might drop: BrooksBros, Prestige (Costco PC?)
Might add: Proper business card, CSR, Ritz, Delta Gold
Letting new accounts cool off since May
Really not sure what I'll add next or when

I wasn't talking about him personally there, but about how he uses BK deliberately to dodge debt. If you are working class or poor and do that you are called a "deadbeat" but Trump does it and he's a business genius. It really all depends on who you are and how much money you have. I was really trying to point out the injustices of this system, and maybe get people to think a bit instead of just taking the media propaganda we are fed and just accepting the hypocrisy as being right.

It truly wasn't aimed at Trump personally. Though he does seem vain, egotistical, and greedy and self-centered. I kind of get the feeling he's the sort of guy who could fall in love with looking at his own image in a mirror, funky hair and all.
Assuming that a mirror would reflect his image, of course.

I'd like to but he's currently polling second behind Jeb. Granted, we're a long way from November 2016.

As always, consider the source.

Honestly Trump is the last person I'd wanna see as president. I'd much rather take some lawyer over corporate America running things at the White House.

Already does and if you think any different than its working.

Donald trump is just a face and a character more than anything. The real ones are the ones who hog posh behind the scenes; ones who strive for power power not public power.

And George bush has made some pretty public mistakes, although not the same as trump, who probably just needs a better publicist team

But middle America, or the average American loved George bush, how else did he get elected *chin rubbing eyes wondering smilely*

On that note, How the hell did O-bummer get (re)elected? Most middle americans I know hate the guy.

I guess what I meant earlier was that I would rather not have a businessman sitting in the White House over someone who is familiar with law and politics. Of course ultimately it doesn't matter that much since the corporations behind lobbyists run everything. I voted to re-elect Obama as did a lot of people in Harris County (which is a shocker to me as this county is mostly red minus the Houston City Limits). I did at the time felt like he was a good choice but now I'm somewhat indifferent about him and also this 2016 election seeing as there's 20 people running and I don't know most of em.

Because a country should be run on self-interest and "emotions" ;)
