Popped collar conspiracy?

Postby CarefulBuilder14 » Sun Jun 28, 2015 7:00 pm

When I was in high school, a lot of my classmates wore polo shirts with popped collars. I thought it was a bit unusual, but not too strange a trend. I kept mine conventional.

Since then, I've seen a few here and there on younger and some older people.

But today I saw, all separately, four grown men with popped collars. They looked to be in their late 30's and 40's, and two were quite obese.

Is there some sort of secret coalition to permanently kill this trend with the taint of uncoolness? Or is it just a few more people than usual desperate to feel fashionable and young?

No one over the age of 14 should pop their collar...

I think it looks stupid. But to each their own.

That guy in pink with the shades needs a cape to add to the Dracula look.
