Normally I build my own PCs for that reason alone. Nothing is better than a fresh install of Windows for me to start messing with. But for laptops it is a little different. I do have to say that I LOVE how clean my Surface was when I got it. It is Win 8, so it has a lot of the basic apps, like Maps, Health, Weather, ect. But none of that bloatware/malware. People have been complaining about this crapware since the late 90's, so it's about time someone listened.

Well, that only applies to Surfaces. Win8.1 on other devices is still loaded like a mofo, unfortunately. Just gimme Win10. My body is ready.

Well, got the replacement laptop and was pleasantly surprised to find NO third party bloatware. I was completely shocked. I was able to go right into the updates and loading my apps.

Now I'm wondering if I want to try and put Win 10 on there and just run 7 virtually so I can run these legacy apps.
