Deletions from Credit Reports

Postby Gb24 » Mon Feb 23, 2015 2:04 pm

I recently had 2 things deleted from my credit report (student loans).
Do you all believe that my credit score will shoot up significantly now?

If anything it will lower it if they were one of the only things on it. They also showed a long history of on time payments, but if you missed some then it may help you.
Discover IT - $5,700
Chase Freedom - $5,700
Costco Citi - $13,000
Sallie Mae - $4,000
Chase Sapphire Preferred - $6,000
Chase Sapphire Reserve - $19,500
Citi Double Cash - $6,500
Amex BCE - $13,000

FICOs: Discover (777), SallieMae (764), Amex (767), Citi (772)
FAKOs: CK- TU (760), EQ (760)

I have many things on there in good standing. They were shown negatively, hence my reasoning for thinking it will help.

If there were recorded missed payments or the such then yes, it will help, but it will also reduce the AAoA.
