going to spend $5 tomorrow. which card to use?

Postby MB131174 » Thu Jan 22, 2015 10:00 am

I feel this is what it's coming to. Member would be blowing his stack if he was still with us. While we're at it, does anyone know what my chances of approval are on the next new card to be released by a major bank?

Actually, you need to split it between at least 10 cards to maximize points.

Yes, there are a lot of idiotic posts lately. Hemorrhaging MyFico style ignorance from all sides.

Manufacture spend using a vending machine. Buy $5 of goods from it each day and then use all your cards to overpay your taxes and earn an amazing return off of that. Just go ask the guy who posted that as a thread on MyFico a few days ago to see how it's done and see how you can cheat the IRS at the same time. The greatest reward from that would be a nice trip to the slammer.

In all seriousness, I don't think the OP there would really do this.

Go around looking for twenty five pennies. Hand the cashier four one dollar bills, three quarters, and the twenty five pennies you've just found. You now made back 5%!
