I added Best Buy to my perma-ban list today. Went in and picked up a couple camera batteries. On the way to the checkout, I looked the price up on B&H Photo's website (I know that BB price matches with B&H because I've done it before). BB's price was $105 each (ouch) while B&H had them for $57.

At the checkout, the conversation went like this:

Me: "Hi. Do you still price match?"
BB: "Sure do."
Me: "With B&H Photo?"
BB: "I don't think so. Let me check." (Calls someone on his radio who answers in the negative). "Nope, sorry."
Me: "OK, then never mind." (Walk out of store for good).

Looked up on the BB website a few minutes later and verified that they did.
AmEx - Platinum (NPSL) , Blue Cash Preferred ($19,000), Gold Delta Skymiles ($8,500)
Chase - Sapphire Preferred ($14,000), Disney ($11,500), Amazon.com ($9,000), Freedom ($8,000)
CapOne - QuickSilver ($7,250) / Platinum Rewards ($7,250)

Best Buy I've refused to shop here for years as they've left their premise, they no longer honor competitor prices to get the "best buy"
BP Gulf Oil Spill
Cheddars Snobby bastards and excessively poor service. Would love to see them go under.
Nationwide Love Peyton Manning, but if I hear that damn jingle one more time! I'll never purchase insurance from them.
Jared Jewelery HATE/LOATHE their commercials... like will change the channel and gouge my eyes out on the way to the remote
Jay Leno Yeah I know he's not a place to shop or eat at, but the traitor screwed over Letterman AND Conan. Won't watch him or support him in any shape, form or fashion.

That's different from someone in physical danger form an officer defending themselves, because to prove that, you'd have to show that the deputy would have shot him had he not fired. A raid for contraband (not that I agree that pot should be contraband) is not that. Heck, the whole case turned on the defendant NOT knowing that the person he shot was a law enforcement agent on duty.

I actually like BP. I worked on that oil spill and came back impressed with them. They also paid for my honeymoon to Paris and engagement ring.

Bad ads alone generally won't turn me away from a company. Mercedes has several ads that are either nonsensical or seem to suggest their owners are jerks or morons. It doesn't necessarily mean the engineering has gotten much worse.

Or has the vehicle quality declined a lot? I haven't driven one.

Approaching five years and still nowhere close to being finished, yet BP is GONE because they paid their way to a settlement. I don't have problems with the spill... crap happens. Heck, Alaska's still feeling the effects from the Exxon mess 30+ years ago and I have no expectation this spill will be any shorter. It's the complete lack of responsibility and attempt to hose over Americans using the media. Pay off the government and run commercials about how wonderful everything is... yeah right. I'm no environmentalist by any stretch, but if you make a mistake own up to it and FINISH THE JOB! BP will never get another penny from me if I can avoid it.

I was in several stores that day, plus the bank, with my gun securely holstered on my belt under my hoodie. No one knew. No one had to know. Funny though, I had zero urge to shoot up the places I was at. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to get some popcorn, sit back and watch the sh-t storm fly.

You should get a .45 :)

And CFA is awesome. So tasty.

I can't watch a Mercedes ad without picturing Jon Hamm recording it in a booth. Same with Jason Sudeikis and Applebee's (or is it Ruby Tuesday? I always get those confused). All I can hear is the voice.

Holly crap.. I wasn't aware this community was so pretentious. "Walmart: low selection - Home Depot: poor service - Whole Foods: too expensive" What?!?!

Anyway, I guess others could deem my choices as equally ridiculous. I won't eat at Subway any more. I've been to over 25 branches and they've all been the same: half retarded, disrespectful employees, slow, dirty, foods all mixed together, don't switch gloves between working on a meat sandwich and working on my (vegetarian) sandwich. There's a reason they're cheap though. It's just not for me.

There's a restaurant around me called Nico's. They sell cheap meats (from what I'm told) but man the service is horrible. Waiters were arguing about how to spell "vegetables" pretty loudly right next to us. I helped them out. Their salad consists of just shredded lettuce. Shredded BROWN gooey lettuce. I gave them a second chance and ate their a second time. It was even worse. Old fogeys seem to love it though. German restaurants seem to have these same issues, minus the spelling difficulties.

25? That seems like an unnecessarily large sample size. :ppp

I'm not a vegetarian, but I can definitely understand how the glove practices would upset you. I don't like mayo, and have complained in restaurants when my otherwise mayo-free sandwich has been cut in half with a mayo-laden knife.
