To fly from PIT to ICN, I have terrible flight times, an 18 hour layover on the way to Seoul, and the actual days I wanted were astronomical in points needed. The Crapitol One commercial about airline miles really is true. I'm only in Seoul for 4 nights. Wanted to stay 5 or 6. Would've cost me another 45,000 miles to stay one more day, which I did not have. I mean, I've always wanted to go to Korea, and here's my chance. I have yet to use miles and get good flights, and that's why I don't play the airline miles game, but instead just use my Discover card for everything and do the simple cash back thing. The AA card will be canceled once I'm back.
