PayPal - Pay After Delivery

Postby darkguy2 » Sat Oct 11, 2014 8:27 pm

I know PayPal is a widely hated company for good reasons, but they introduced a new feature today. Now you can choose to not pay for your order until 14 days later. And if you file a dispute within these 14 days, then the seller will not be paid until after the it is resolved.
Discover IT - $5,700
Chase Freedom - $5,700
Costco Citi - $13,000
Sallie Mae - $4,000
Chase Sapphire Preferred - $6,000
Chase Sapphire Reserve - $19,500
Citi Double Cash - $6,500
Amex BCE - $13,000

FICOs: Discover (777), SallieMae (764), Amex (767), Citi (772)
FAKOs: CK- TU (760), EQ (760)

Didn't catch this today. Thanks for the heads up. Wonder what it will look like on the seller's end.

These two (Paypal credit & pay after delivery) are different things. PAD is not a line of credit, and they can automatically deduct money from your bank account.
Citi Forward Visa $5000 10/2012 | American Express Blue Cash Everyday $8000 2/2014 | Discover it $7000 5/2014
Chase Freedom Visa Signature $7000 6/2014 | Citi ThankYou Premier Visa Signature $5000 1/2015
All EMV.

You also have to use your bank account to pay if you use PAD. You can't use a CC.

I used to like using PayPal a few years ago but every now & then something changes and in the long run it's become a mess.
